COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION FORUM is a Community Based / Non profit making organization formed  in Feb.2009 and duly registered  WCBO/413/10

 

The organization currently operates in WAKISO District (the biggest District in Uganda) .

 
This foundation was established to help and support disadvantaged children, sustain livelihoods and human rights for the most vulnerable members of the community, regardless of their ,Race, National origin, gender, disability, religious belief or political affiliations aiming at raising the standards of living of the community as a whole.

These include Orphans and vulnerable children, youth out of school, the disabled, who are unable to meet basic needs in life and HIV / AIDS infected and affected persons.

 

We work for welfare of orphans and vulnerable children, youth, social, economic and advancements. In so doing, we expect the target groups in our country to contribute to the overall development of the country and hence increased standards of living and that of their families.


COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION  FORUM emphasises on HIV/AID’s testing, counseling, guidance ,sensitization and medicare, educating orphans and vulnerable children and training entrepreneurship skills to the unemployed youth ,family planning, hygiene, sanitation, nutrition in a bid to impart skills to the target groups. 

 

Mission:

 To provide Voluntary HIV/AIDS Testing, Counseling, Sensitization, and promoting Child Health Programs in the fields of Good Hygiene, Sanitation, Safe Water and Nutrition, in addition to School Fees Facilitation and Scholastic Material Assistance to the Orphans and Vulnerable Children and promote all income generating activities and peer group counseling to the young & youth.

 

Vision: To have an Educated and Empowered community with Women,Orphans and vulnerable children having potential rights.

 

Objectives:

 

  •    To promote hygiene, sanitation and nutrition.
  •    To assist  the orphans and disadvantaged.
  •    To provide HIV/AIDS, counseling & sensitization to the affected and infected groups
  •    To promote income generating activities among Women and the Youth.
  •    To train home Based care facilitators of people living with HIV / AIDS.
  •    Child and Women advocacy.
